Losing weight is more of a mental battle than a physical one. If you really want to be successful, you have to battle your impatience before you can change your habits.

Here are seven tips to lose weight fast:-

1) Eat a large healthy breakfast. Follow this rule:-

Eat like a king for breakfast, a commoner for lunch and a porter for dinner. It is important to eat breakfast to break the fast of not eating when you are sleeping, and this ensures that your metabolism (fat burning machine) is burning at a higher rate.

2) Rather than doing a low intensity workout for an hour or so, do a 20 minute high intensity workout. You could do something such as interval training. For example:-

Walk for 2 minutes, run for 2 minutes, do 15 sit-ups, walk 2 minutes, run 2
minutes, do 15 pushups, then continue with 2 minutes walk, 2 minutes run, 15
lunges (for each leg), 2 minutes walk, 2 minutes run, 15 squats etc... This will
condition your body and allow you to get fitter quicker.

3) Make sure you have one day in a week where you are allow to have bad food. Make this your guilty day, but make it a worthy event i.e. go out for dinner with friends, partner or parents. Don't just binge on the couch in you pajamas and do nothing.

4) Do not constantly weigh yourself as this will discourage you. Only weigh yourself once a week at the very maximum. You will more motivated by doing this as you can see a larger result.

5) Do not take foods that are high in sugar or fats i.e. fast food, chips, sweets and canned drinks.

Take food which only belongs to the bread, cereal, vegetable and fruits group.

Meat, eggs and milk yogurt group can be taken selectively but not all the time. It is advised to take only 4 times a week

Never ever take oil sweet group as this is a sure way of getting fat fast.

6) Do not eat 3 hours before you sleep. This is because your body is not capable of processing your food properly while you are asleep; they will turn into fats. The normal time for the food to be processed is between 3 and 4 hours.

7) Get moral support from friends and family members. This is a good psychology in losing weight. With their support and encouragement, you will be motivated to do better and are more likely to achieve your weight loss goal.
